Generations Assisted Living & Memory Care is Hiring a Housekeeper Near West Jefferson, NC
Position Summary
Clean common areas and residents’ room and bathroom according to schedule, and maintain a healthy and attractive environment in the Assisted Living and other areas of the building as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Clean all common areas, including sitting rooms, dining rooms and guest restrooms according to schedule.
2. Clean residents’ room according to schedule.
3. Adhere to all regulatory compliance and sanitation regulations and policies.
Physical Job Requirements
To fulfill job requirements, employees must be able to perform key physical tasks for extended periods of time. Proper body mechanics and safety measures as prescribed by the residence must be used.
In a typical eight-hour day, the employee will:
- Stand/walk up to eight hours a day
- Sit up to two hours a day
- Frequently support up to 70 pounds
- Frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequently kneel, bend and reach
